Communication Builds Community

Welcome back to the Art of Strategic Communications! 

Sadly, today is the last day I will be uploading on a weekly basis. Although I do plan to stay active on this blog, my schedule is about to take off so the updates will more than likely come monthly rather than weekly for a while. However, I hope that this blog has helped you become a better leader, a better listener, and a better communicator.

In today's society, I believe that some forms of communication are a lost art. We are more comfortable sending a text message with abbreviated words than we are having a face-to-face conversation. I believe that this is due to the fast ever-evolving pace at which we live our lives. If you are anything like me, you are constantly going from one place to the next to accomplish every task on your to-do list; however, if you haven't understood anything else throughout the duration of this blog understand this:

Communication builds relationships, and relationships build community.

So I urge you, communicate, build relationships, and find community. No one is meant to do life alone, so find those people who will encourage you to become better each day! The secret to strategic communications is intentionality. Be intentional in your everyday conversations and the rest will come easy!
